What database type does the cart use?

Q. What database type does the cart use?

A. There isn't a product database that the cart uses. The product pages are created by you or your web developer. Typically, pages are static, but if you already have a system that creates the pages dynamically, it should be possible to alter to work with the shopping cart. Order data is stored in a proprietary format.
